On the first page there are a lot of hyper links under the heading Antarctica Communications - Antarctica Blogs, in the second row is a link to Antarctic Animals, click this and you will be away. Look out for the link for Animal Adaptations, for information on the way animals survive the freezer.

This is a great website for kids that was actually put together by two Australian teachers! Head to the Animals link, there is an alphabetical list, a great place to start your online exploration. This one is easy to read.

On this site, there is a cool time lapse video of a huddle of penguins which explains how the birds keep warm in the freezing cold.

This website has information about many animals. In the top panel, click on animal facts, which will bring you to an alphabetical list where you should be able to find your animal. The purpose of this website is to raise awareness of environmental issues, they are a registered charity, based in the UK.
